The second variation changes the front plate and swaps out the Tesla EF184s in the drive stage for Telefunken EF800s. The window and proscenium arch are now outlined in gold.

Announced in 2013 and available in 2014 the Vosne-Romanee - L removes the phono inputs but retains the 'PHONO" lable, RCA inputs and the grounding pin. The drive stage tubes have changed to 6V6s with 6AW8As
The vertical front knob layout is the easiest way to identify the L model though the text on the front plate is changed as well.
