With two Moving Magnet inputs at different sensitivity/impedances and a REC OUT it somewhat fills the role of the discontinued 7A / Martine line.
The 2014 re-design removed some inputs and outputs.

Probably designed and built in 2001. It appeared for sale on the Shindo website in May of 2001 and in the USA later that year. It was removed from the Shindo website at the end of 2004 but continued to appear on distributers' available products lists in 2005.
In 2001 Shindo removed most information from their website about the tubes used in their products. Information on the Partagers' tube lineup was removed from the description as part of that process.

In 2014 the Partager was re-introduced with a new design. Unverified comments rumor this to be Ken Shindo's last design. The TV input, REC OUT, and one set of MM inputs have been removed from the previous version, the sensitivity/impedance of the remaining Phono input is unknown but probably 47kΩ.
While the physical size of the unit is similar the front acrylic face of the unit has been changed and now includes punch-through LED lights indicators.
The exact number of 2014 Partagers made is not known but it is reported to be a low number.
