In 2006 the Shindo website product page was redone to reflect a new chassis design. In line with changes made in other product lines at the time ( Petrus, Haut Brion) a tube window is added and the height of the chassis is increased slightly. Additionally the step-up transformer for the MC phono input appears to have been changed.

The line stage tubes appear to still be 2 x ECL84 initially. There are reports that the 6X4 rectifier and ECL82 regulator are replaced with only 2 x 6X4 rectifiers around this time.

Sometime between August, 2007 and October 2009 Shindo updated the front panel to include the gold proscenium graphics to the tube window. The Shindo Laboratory website image was updated but the technical description was not changed.

The line stage tubes are reported as changing from 2 x ECL84 to 2 x 'Telefunken ECL-94S'. The 'ECL-94S' label was an overprint on ECL84 tubes.

In 2017 a new Monbrison design was announced. The MC phono input was removed but a custom output transformer is added, reversing the removal in 2002. The output impedance was lowered from 5 kOhm to 1 kOhm.

Dealer and reviewer comments indicate the 2017 Monbrison was meant to fit between the 'old' Monbrison and the discontinued Masseto.
